Jane is an accomplished photographer who trained as a painter. For most of her working life she taught art and design at local colleges and schools, but over the last five years she has been organising and curating art and design exhibitions in an amazing 18th century barn, known as Jewell's Barn.

Her focus is on promoting an artists' led exhibition space, and she has become highly skilled at bringing together many complementary artists and craftspeople, and at promoting them and the exhibition as a whole on a shoestring budget.

She works from home where she is currently looking after the older generation ('the parentals').

She is also (a magical, hands on) godmother to the Funky Cherubs, and the illustrator of the children's book, "Lumpy Loves Chocolate" by Funky Angel founder and director, Claire Burdett. She has two nephews, and as she says about the next generation...

"I've done the step-parenting bit, and now relish my role as aunt and godmother. Never got round to having my own children, however I have collected quite a lot of others along the way..."
